“A Friendly Reminder”

Sometimes it’s okay to not be okay.
This is what my counselor of two
years has told me. Not everything
goes the way we want,
And that is okay.
It’s okay to fall down,
It’s even okay to sit there on the
ground for a while. Take a few deep
breaths
And remember why you get up every
morning. Remember it’s okay to ask
for help when you need it. It’s okay to
not know what you’re doing.
Just promise yourself
That you will stand back up every
time you fall. Don’t worry about the
past
And don’t worry about the things you
can’t control. Keep doing your best.
Sometimes it may seem that your best
Isn’t as good as it was yesterday.
It’s okay.
As long as it’s your best today.
It’s okay not to be perfect.
It’s okay to not be okay.
Just promise yourself you’ll keep
trying.
